Who we are
Two operating entities.
One engineering discipline.
General Power PLC (Ethiopia) and General Power Africa Ltd (Rwanda) form a multidisciplinary engineering and infrastructure group delivering integrated electromechanical solutions across Ethiopia, Rwanda and the wider East African market.
We are not a generator supplier. We are an integrated engineering company capable of delivering complex electromechanical projects from concept through commissioning and long-term maintenance.
Our story
Two decades of
electromechanical delivery.
Established in Ethiopia around 2005, General Power spent its first decade building a reputation for delivering complex electromechanical projects for hospitals, industrial facilities and commercial developments across the country.
The subsequent expansion into Rwanda through General Power Africa Ltd extended that engineering discipline across borders — combining a deep base of Ethiopian project experience with an active Kigali operating presence and regional supply-chain reach into East and Central Africa.
